3 Days of Beautiful Fall PHOTOGRAPHY in HIGHLANDS, NORTH CAROLINA
Join VIEWS Magazine Photographer & Writer Mark W. Hutchison for 3 days of photographic
instruction and in-the-field experience during the most stunning season on the
Highlands Plateau of Western North Carolina.
Marks's photography has been honored by both Fuji Film USA, Inc., & Eastman Kodak Co.,
and been exhibited Internationally in well over 75 Galleries & Exhibitions the last twenty five
years, as well as in magazine such as,
Outdoor Photographer, Photo District News, American Photo, Professional Photographer,
ViewCamera, Fujifilm Profiles, Atlanta Magazine, Blue Ridge Country, & Our State North Carolina,
among many others, in which his photography has brought national attention to the
beauty of the Highlands Plateau. He has been photographing on the Highlands Plateau for the
past 25 years, using medium, & large format cameras to capture this land's beauty.
Mark studied with the late, great 20th Century Landscape & Nature Photographer and
early pioneer of the present day environmentalist movement, Eliot Porter, and seeks to
carry on the tradition of environmental preservation through his photography.
 
This workshop will be geared towards those who wish to learn how better to see and photo the natural beauty of
the Highlands and Cashiers areas, whether with digital or traditional film cameras. Though this workshop is not
a "how to" for those wishing to learn how to use their digital cameras, we will have a digital tech assistant available.
